We had stayed at Ladakh Imperial during our trip to Ladakh in Apr '23. The location is a big plus - can reach the place in 5-10 mins from the airport. And the hotel was right next to the Skara road with lot of shops & ATMs. Coming to the hotel, the rooms definitely needed repair. This could have been probably due to the fact that we visited just at the beginning of the season and there were some repairs happening inside the hotel premises. Bathrooms needed cleaning. The carpet in the room looked as if it had never been cleaned. And the rug on the bed needed changing - though they changed it as soon as we requested. The room had a centralized heating system - though it was turned only from late in the evening till mid-night. Additional rugs were provided and thankfully, these were much better. The food was average considering the place, but could have been better. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a decent spread. The biggest plus of this place was its staff - right from the receptionist to the cooks to the house-keeping staff. They should definitely consider adding a provision for bonfires in the evening.

I recently spent a week in Leh staying at the Ladakh Imperial. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff (family business) extremely friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a good value 3-4 star experience.

Very average hotel with decent rooms. Manageable for singles, but tough to stay in same kind of rooms with families. Rooms and washrooms are not at all clean. Blankets provided for stay are too underrated for extreme winters. Kitchen does not look clean at all with very selective variety of food options. Can say go ahead for solo stays but not good for staying with family.

We stayed at the imperial for five days to acclimatise to the altitude ( coming from sea level in Australia). Altitude sickness tablets are a must. We then joined a motorcycle tour and came back to the Imperial to rest after 10 days of rugged bike riding. The staff at the Imperial were always helpful and very knowledgeable about health matters. Reception is always open and friendly. Dining room is open for breakfast and dinner. Hot and cold options for breakfast and plenty of choice of tasty Indian dishes for dinner. Room service is also available. The chef willingly caters for dietary requirements. The rooms are spacious with big picture window. Mine faced the pretty courtyard where you can sit under the shade of a beautiful apricot tree. Plenty of off street parking. My room also faced Shanti Stupa. The hotels location on Skara Road is only two km from main market. I always took a little taxi bus. 30 INR to market and 300Inr to get back home. The local streets have ATM’s, souvenir shops, cafes, barbers and some clothing stores. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and their family have made my stay feel like a home away from home. Thankyou. The photos on the website give you a good idea of the hotel and the rooms.

Besides wonderful stay at Imperial Ladakh, its another USP was its food. The food was really tasty & the chef was giving due attention on customer feedback or requirement. He takes suggestions positively. The chicken preparations we asked were cooked really delicious and reminded us of any best hotel who could serve such preparation. Every thing that was served was detailed in its own way, leaving us surprised that how Mr. Bhupinder was able to manage all his customers requirement so well leaving no stone unturned. Perfection beyond imagination in such a place.
